Pirouette Version 5 Release

We’re pleased to announce that the Pirouette version 5 release is successfully underway! Much of the work that organizations do is performed away from the office.  Version 5 will make it easier for staff to carry out this work, now that the software is accessible on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. CBI Project Support

Community Business Intelligence (CBI) Project Support This update (4.0.19) introduces functionality to support CBI data collection and submissions. This initiative was established by the Toronto Central LHIN (TC LHIN) in Ontario, to enhance data collection and reporting capabilities across the TC LHIN’s Community Sector. It will later be aligned with other initiatives in the Greater Toronto Area. Roxy Software has been involved with the CBI project since its kick-off in 2013, and we’re pleased to announce that Pirouette software has completed all of the required validation testing. We’ve been working closely with early adopters of the CBI tool, and we look forward to supporting the rollout to organizations throughout the TC LHIN. OCAN Consumer Self-Assessment Portal

OCAN Consumer Self-Assessment (CSA) Portal This update (4.0.18) supports the launch of the OCAN Consumer Self-Assessment Portal. For organizations that value a client-centred approach to service delivery, the CSA portal is an essential tool in their OCAN implementation. The CSA portal promotes client involvement and allows clients to take an active role in their care. Clients login to the secure, online portal from any computer with an internet connection, where they access the self-assessment portion of the OCAN record and complete it at their own pace. The completed self-assessment is then submitted to become part of the client’s OCAN record in Pirouette. This update also includes increased search capabilities for client OCANs, allowing users to track a client’s OCAN status quickly and easily. MIS Reporting Changes and OCAN Enhancements This update (4.0.17) introduces a fully upgraded set of MIS data collection and reporting tools to support the Ontario Ministry of Health’s 2012 MIS reporting changes. This includes: new tools to collect data on service provider interactions new tools to report visits or group statistics for programs the list of contact types has been updated and expanded the MIS report has been updated with all the new categories the MIS report now counts a maximum of one client visit per day For details on how these new tools and features have been implemented in the software, refer to the MIS Reporting Changes manual. We’ve also added enhanced copy functionality to the OCAN record, so users can now copy data from previous assessments to new assessments of a different type. OCAN: IAR Consent Enhancements

IAR Consent Enhancements This update (4.0.16) introduces two new features to help you manage IAR consent accurately and effectively. The IAR consent default, available in global preferences, allows you to select the default consent level to be used in the absence of other data. The IAR Consent Assessment, accessed within the client record, allows you to document and track when the client wants the same consent status applied to all future assessments. Organizations all across Ontario have chosen Pirouette as their OCAN software tool, and many of them are now submitting assessments to IAR on a regular basis. We’re excited about the work that’s been done so far, and we’re pleased to be helping organizations meet their OCAN and IAR “go live” milestones successfully.
