Add a New Client File

To add a new client file:

1.  Go to the Menu at the top of the page, go to the Clients and Contacts section, and select All Clients.  This will bring you to the central list of client files.

2.  At the central list of clients, select the Create icon located in the upper right corner of the list:

 

This will bring you to the New Client Helper page.

Tip:  as a shortcut, go to Actions at the top of the page, go to the New section and select Client – this will also bring you to the New Client Helper page.  You can use this shortcut from anywhere in Pirouette.

3.  At the New Client File Helper page, enter some of client’s information and select the Next prompt in order to check if the client has already been entered into the system.

a)  If the client is listed:  select the client and select Open Selected Client to open the file.  This will bring you to the Client Summary Page; use the Next/Back buttons to go to different sections of the file.  You can also use the shortcut features on the summary page to add or edit information.

b)  If the client is not listed:  select Create a New Client to create a new client file.  This will bring you to the Basic Information page of the client file.  Enter the appropriate information for this page and use the Save button at the top of the page to save your work.

4.  Use the Next button to proceed to the next section in the client file, and enter the appropriate information.  Continue this process until you have entered and saved each section of the client file.  If you don’t have information to enter for a particular field or section, just move on to the next field/section.
