Adding and Changing List Options
Most of the pulldown field lists in Pirouette can be modified. Add/remove lists and some checkbox options can be modified as well. You can also delete options from a pulldown field’s list of options, but only if the option is not selected anywhere in the system.
To add an option to the list of options that appear in a field’s pulldown list:
1. Go to the Menu at the top of the page, go to the System section, and select Lists. This will bring you to the central list of all the pulldown field lists.
2. Select the field that you wish to make additions to. All of the existing options in the field’s pulldown list will be shown.
3. Select the Create icon located in the upper right corner of the list to create a new record.
4. Enter the new option you want added to the list.
5. When you are finished, save and close the record.
To change one of the options in a field’s pulldown list:
1. Go to the Menu at the top of the page, go to the System section, and select Lists. This will bring you to the central list of all the pulldown field lists.
2. Select the field that you wish to make additions to. All of the existing options in the field’s pulldown list will be shown.
3. Select the option you wish to change, and make the required change.
4. When you are finished, save and close the record.
